Sophie (She/Her) is an accomplished actor with a passion for storytelling and performance. Holding an advanced diploma in Acting from The Academy of Film, Theatre, and Television, Sophie has honed her craft through rigorous training and dedication.
One of Sophie’s notable achievements includes writing and starring in the acclaimed play ‘MISC’ which premiered at KXT. This production showcased Sophie’s versatility and creativity as both a writer and performer, gaining praise from audiences and critics alike.
In addition to their stage work, Sophie has made a significant impact in the theatre scene with performances in productions such as “The Other End of the Afternoon” at the New Theatre. Sophie has also contributed to educational theatre through their involvement with the organisation Learning Consent, producing impactful performances shown at universities such as UNSW and UNE. This work demonstrates Sophie’s commitment to using her talent to address important social issues and engage audiences in meaningful conversations.
Beyond the theatre, Sophie has made their mark in the world of film and commercials. Sophie has also showcased her acting prowess in a variety of short films, including ‘Romance Dawn’, which was screened at prestigious venues such as The Art Gallery of NSW and The Powerhouse Museum.
Most recently, Sophie’s work has gained international recognition, with her latest short film appearance being selected for the Lift-Off Global Network Film Festival in Tokyo and Clean Shorts Film Festival in Oklahoma. This achievement highlights Sophie’s talent and appeal on a global scale.
Outside of acting, Sophie finds inspiration in music and film, fuelling their passion for storytelling and artistic expression.
