Sarah Takau is a Sydney-based actress of Tongan descent. Recently, she played the role of Celeste Leota in ABC's series adaptation of Markus Zusak's THE MESSENGER, starring Alexandra Jensen and Chris Alosio. She also played Butch Melanie as part of an all-female cast in Prime Video's comedy series CLASS OF '07, starring Emily Browning and Caitlyn Stasey. Graduating with a Diploma of Screen Acting from Screenwise in 2019, she went on to star in the short film KEYS, which became an official selection for many film festivals, including the Sydney Indie Film Festival and Southern International Film Festival. KEYS went on to win the Best Children's Short and the Indie Spirit Award.
