Drew Wilson is an actor, puppeteer, puppetry director and writer. Training: Victorian College of the Arts (Company 2010). Theatre credits include: War Horse (Australian Tour, National Theatre and Global Creatures); Storm Boy (Dir. Sam Strong, Melbourne Theatre Company and Queensland Theatre); Darkness (Dir. Dino Dimitriadis, New Theatricals); Laser Beak Man (Dir. David Morton, Dead Puppet Society); The Riddle of Washpool Gully (Dir. David Morton, Terrapin Puppet Company and Dead Puppet Society); Urza and the Song in the Dark (Dir. Scott Parker, Matriark); Guess How Much I Love You (Dir. Leisl Badarrok, CDP); The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show and Alice in Wonderland (Michael Sieders Presents); and Notes from Underground (Sydney Chamber Opera). Television and Film and Television credits include: Crownies (ABC) NCIS Sydney (Paramount and Network 10) and Ten Pound Poms (BBC and Stan); the short films Legacy, Rare Books and When Sally Left Steve (Australian Film, Television and Radio School); and puppetry for the feature film Blaze (Dir. Del Kathryn Barton, Causeway Films) and Sting (Dir. Kiah Roache-Turner, Causeway Films). Drew is a recipient of a 2019 Mike Walsh Fellowship for Acting and Puppetry, which took him to the UK.
