Conan Nguyen O’Connell is a talented young actor who thrives both onstage and in front of the camera. His performances purvey his attention to detail, his deep exploration of language, and his joy and love of the spotlight. Alongside his acting prowess, Conan has a love of music and languages, having dedicated much of his early life to classical piano, guitar, and percussion, in tandem with learning Japanese and French. His offstage skills have given him a foundation of study and artistry that has helped hone his craft in a unique way. Set to graduate from the Bachelor of Art (Acting) course at the Western Australian Academy for Performing Arts at the end of 2025, Conan has undergone extensive training in acting, vocal work, and movement. He has studied under the expert tutelage of world class directors and teachers, including Declan Donellan, and worked vigorously with many different forms of theatre, including Shakespeare, Verbatim Theatre, and Surrealism. Conan’s acting is underscored by a deep love and investigation of the work of the artist.
