Christine was born in the United Kingdom, raised in Sydney Australia, and has a strong background in performance, directing and teaching. She started dance training when she was 3 years old, played her first role in a stage musical whilst in high school and has been involved in all facets of the stage since then.
As a teacher of Performing Arts she has enjoyed introducing young people to performance. A highlight of Christine’s teaching career was directing choral performances at the Sydney Opera House as well as writing and directing plays for large and small groups. Christine moved to London in 2015 to establish a career as a professional performer. In London she performed in a variety of genres both on stage and on camera whilst extending her skills at numerous workshops and courses.
Since returning to Sydney Christine has used her overseas experience on a number of exciting projects that include work in Cabaret and devising a new piece of gig theatre with singer/songwriter Kay Proudlove. Their show, See You Later Mum, was presented at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2022 and returned to a short season in the Sydney Fringe Festival where it was nominated for a Sydney Fringe Festival Award for Theatre.
Most recently, after completing a course in screenwriting with Jonathon Ogilvie at AFTRS, Christine has written a short film. Gino & Juliet has been made for festivals and features Christine in the title role. Christine is currently represented by Smith and MacDonald Creative Management.
