Chris is a popular and recognizable actor in Australia from extensive television work. Chris continually works as both a musician and an actor. Recent appearances include ‘Prosper’ in which he played Prime Minister Mike Webber. He also appeared in the BBC series Ten Pound Poms and in 2024 did a commercial for La Trobe finance.
Chris studied at Australia’s National Institute of Dramatic art in the same year as Luminaries Mel Gibson and Judy Davis. He accumulated numerous credits in Sydney theatre and played several leading roles at the Melbourne Theatre Company. He has appeared in more than 500 hours of television screen time playing leading roles in multiple series. These include The Young Doctors, Cop Shop, Carsons Law, Prime Time, E Street, Special Squad, Prisoner, Time Trax, and others. He paused acting for a while to work on the distribution side of the film industry and had management roles with Universal, Paramount, and Polygram.
Chris is a musician and songwriter and has performed on the Sydney club circuit for over 40 years. He has won or been highly placed in several international song contests and has publishing contracts on several songs. His bread-and-butter work includes several television commercials, and his distinctive voice lends itself to narration occasionally. He released a CD of his music in 2009 called That’s The Way It Goes. 14 of his songs are available on Spotify.
