Renaissance man Angus King is a professional actor and writer, with over 30 years experience, alternating between theatre and screen. A graduate of NIDA, Angus has worked as an actor with some of the most prestigious theatre companies in Australia, including the Sydney Theatre Co, Melbourne Theatre Co and Bell Shakespeare Co. His screen credits include the feature film ‘Danny Deckchair’, the award winning short film ‘First Date’, and T.V. shows such as ‘NCIS - Sydney’ ‘A Place To Call Home’, ‘All Saints’ and the lead guest role in ‘Water Rats’, to name a few. The highly successful web series ‘Wingman’, earned Angus the best comedy actor award at the LA Web Fest in 2015. He also worked as lead actor (playing all the characters) and was co-writer of the hit Nickelodeon T.V. Show ‘Hot Chunks’ for the Foxtel Network - a job which saw him fly around the world and share the stage with the like of Will Smith and Aerosmith. Angus has also made a name for himself in Australia fronting over 30 major Commercial Advertising Campaigns. He’s also written and work- shopped strategy for clients and agencies both big and small. Also as a writer Angus has penned the highly talked about, nearly/yet to be produced, black comedy/horror series, ‘The Morgan’.
