Alex has been performing since he was eight years old… and boy, is he tired! Upon the completion of his HSC in 2015, Alex was selected as one of 20 to perform at the Sydney Opera House for the 2016 Encore Showcase. Following this, Alex set his sights on the Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts. After graduating in 2019 with a BFA in Music Theatre, Alex returned to Sydney amidst a global pandemic. Taking advantage of the time indoors, Alex set to honing his writing and composition skills. During this time, Alex also starred as the face of Disney+ Star’s Ad campaign in Australia and New Zealand as Zac the Zombie in 2021. In 2022, Alex and Elyse founded Lysander Films, a boutique film company which aims to create films “with heart and humour”. Alex both stars in and composes the music for most of their shorts; including their proof-of-concept short “Miss Trial”, which won Best International Film at the Women’s Comedy Film Festival in Atlanta (2023). Alex and Elyse worked on creating their first feature film “Black Prince” in the latter half of 2024, with Alex leading a cast of young Australian talent.
