Alex’s career started in Adelaide in 1998 as a support lead in the feature film Spank! Relocating to Sydney soon after he was cast as Chris Poulos in Home and Away where he worked as a guest artist for 8 years. In 2017 he was cast in the feature film adaptation of Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit along side James Corden, Margot Robbie and Rose Byrne. Resulting as a box office success he was recast in Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway in 2019. His television credits include Hyde & Seek, All Saints, Life Support, My Place,Ten Pound Poms, Underbelly III - The Golden Mile, two seasons of Always Greener and multiple TVC’s for the international and Australian market. Alex graduated from his studies in the Meisner method in 2005 where he received many awards for his work, in 2001 he was awarded Best Actor as part of the Sydney Fringe Festival. In 2005 and 2006 he performed in The Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Cracker Comedy Festival in the hit shows It’s A Mother! and It’s A Father! for Sidetrack Theatre Group. Alex was a permanent cast member of Sidetrack Theatre Group’s ensemble where he toured with productions nationally and internationally over a 7 year period.
