Born and currently residing in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney, Aidan Gillett is these days better known within the industry as a Stuntman, having doubled actors such as Glen Powell, Todd Lasance, Sam Neill and Zac Efron. He was selected for NIDA at 18 years of age, graduating in the class of 07. Following several years of successfully working in Australian theatre and TV, Aidan decided to follow his childhood dream of grading as a Stunt Performer, landing his first role as one of the performing team on Hacksaw Ridge, the Mel Gibson war film, for which he and the rest of the team won a SAG award. Aidan has worked on films such as Cargo, Bleeding Steel, Little Monsters, Palm Beach, Brabham, The Invisible Man, 2067, Shang-Chi, Gold, Interceptor, Poker Face, Transfusion, Anyone But You, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, The Deb and Play Dirty. His TV roles include Home and Away, Riot, Bite Club, Wanted, Secret City, Les Norton, The Unlisted, Stateless, The Secret She Keeps, Doctor Doctor, Mr Inbetween, RFDS, Wolf Like Me, Pieces Of Her, Heartbreak High, Upright, Last King of the Cross and NCIS Sydney. His first step back into a pure acting role for nearly 10 years will be as Constable Rory Hooper in the upcoming Stan Original ‘Critical Incident’, which was released in 2024.
